Fear increases cortisol in your body which weakens the immune system. But if you observe it and then acting on it from a place of awareness will not create cortisol in your body.
One is the most important thing you can do right now is to relax and trust that all will be okay.
Yeah, it’s important to wash hands and all stuff. But if you go all obsessed over it, than you may be in a stressed state that just doing more harm than washing them once and chill a little.
It is very important in this state, that take you care of yourself. And if watching the news freaking you out, maybe limit it. Do things what makes you feel good and happy, what makes you smile. Anything small will do.
Just loosen up a bit and let you enjoy your life.
And remember: how you feel is going to have a lot to do with how strong your immune system is.
So might as well try to relax… maybe watch Friends and if you have to stay home do a Friends marathon ( which I always wanted … takes 3.6+ days to watch the whole 10 seasons in 1 go. I’d love that though.)
Whatever you do just remember:
Fear is a choice, you can choose that… OR you can choose awareness.
Respond instead of react.
I say to fear: “nah, thanks b*tch”.
When you are in a stressed state what’s your thing that helps you chill a bit? Maybe we all can try! 🙂
