So, my 4 week challenge has started. Although I’m still working on what are my workouts will be and what I’m going to eat every day. And the hardest part is self – discipline.
Started means, been at the gym once last week- I know… and more or less my meals are planned too!
So much for self- discipline, right?!
I’m telling you, that is hard. Not to eat a lot of rubbish food and not to sit in front of the telly instead of get my arse off of the sofa and got to workout and make my meal preps.
But let see how I started my challenge.
What do I need in terms to be able to see any improvement? It is measurement and there is two ways to do it. Take a whole body picture a day before my Day 1 into my Challenge, so a day after is still fine, and the second thing I did is a Fitness Test.
At the gym, where I am training there is a machine where I can check and measure my body, weight – fat and muscle, heart rate and all that stuff.
The following pictures will include my previous monthly checks as well.
Here is my September checks. I was on holiday for 2 weeks and I wasn’t working out on that time and wasn’t really focusing what do I eat to be honest and what is a bigger issue is that I did consume alcohol on a daily basis. (side note: haven’t become alcoholic!).
My Fitness Test Result shows improvement, which is definitely a good thing.

I do need to learn about this part for a better analysing, but I’m happy with any kind of improvement.
But let see the rest of the graphics. They aren’t making me happy as much..
My Body Fat Percentage: from 23% I jumped to 25% of Body Fat in a month. One month.
One. 1.
It is really upsetting me because I feel like all the work I’ve done the previous 3 months almost was for nothing. Started 26% of Body Fat when I’ve started my Fitness Journey in May, and 4 months later almost back at the beginning.
My weight at the moment is 58.95kg from 57.9kg after a month.
My Muscles Mass are pretty much the same situation.
Gained muscle as I was losing fat and now it is reversing. Other way around.
At first I did lose weight.. to me it seemed a lot.
My family and friends are still concerned about me, my health as I look sick… – thanks for that!

But then when my Body Fat went down to 23% at the same time I started to gain weight, but this time my Muscle Mass % went up.
It is very important, that do not look just your weight when you’d like to lose fat, because if you are working out in anyhow you most likely will gain weight then lose.
My Hydration dropped too. Definitely didn’t drink enough water during last month.
Sum up, I have a lot work to do and I’m only just a human, got really lazy the past month and I blame the holiday for it! – Excuses, excuses, of course. Blaming something or someone else rather then get a closer look of myself! :).
Have to set goals and my ultimate goal is my 6 packs 🙂 which I should be able to see around 19% of Body Fat, I think, but for now to be able to achieve in 8 to 12 weeks, I have to make a deal with myself and get it to 24% of Body Fat in the next 4 Weeks.
For 4 weeks I’ll be sharing each day about my challenge and how I cope with it. So, stay tuned and do not hesitate share your opinion or experience and if you have better way of doing things, just hit me up :).
By the way the title is -if you haven’t recognised it, is from Friends, when Monica gets excited about her and Chander’s upcoming wedding.
Peace&Love,
Miti
